July 10, 2010: Nadia & Shawn

Nadia and Shawn are such a fabulous couple. Nadia is just gorgeous and Shawn has an amazing sense of humor. And both are incredibly kind and nice. As soon as I met them I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding so it was such a thrill to be there!

We started the day out with some "getting ready" photos and then headed to Amasa Stone Chapel for the ceremony. I don't think anyone could take a bad photo at Amasa. It is always such a pleasure to photograph there. And with Shawn & Nadia's special touches for the church it was even more beautiful. The cute little flower girl headed back into the aisle to fix some flowers on the runner after she finished her walk up the aisle. Then came Nadia on her father's arm looking dazzling. You could see the love in Shawn's eyes as she walked the aisle. It was such a beautiful moment.

After the ceremony, we walked around the campus of Case Western for some fun photos with the Bridal Party and some couple shots of the Bride & Groom. I think the Charlie's Angels Bridal Party shot is one of my favs!

Then we headed to Severence Hall for the rockin reception afterwards. I had never photographed inside Severence and was very happy to do so. It was gorgeous. Nadia & Shawn seemed to have an amazing time.

Thank you so much for including me in one of the most special days of your lives! I had such a great time working with you both. It has been such a pleasure!

Margaret & Victor's E-Session

It was such a wonderful relaxed day hanging out with Victor & Margaret. We strolled and chatted down around Voinovich Park by the Mather. And then moved back to the studio for some shots in the neighborhood. Only a few more days until the big day! I can't wait to photograph your Wedding!!

Kelly & Ryan's E-Session

Oh my goodness! I had soooo much fun hanging out with Ryan & Kelly. I joined them at Lakewood Park. We walked, talked, laughed, giggled and I'm not certain but I think we made some cool plans to go out of town together. I am so excited to be working with you both. It was such a pleasure hanging out. I'm looking forward to many more conversations!

Ashley & Mark: July 9, 2010

Deb & I joined Mark & Ashley at Williams on the Lake. It had definitely rained and another front was moving in or so we thought. They decided to chance it and go ahead with the outside ceremony. It was beautiful. Full of emotion. Tears. Laughter. And Ashley and Mark are so cute and loving!

As soon as the ceremony was over, we crossed to the other side for the photos by the waterfall and gazebo. Then we moved back to the reception for the party! And WOW was it a party. Complete with a photobooth. We won't talk about what happened in there. There was some cigar smoking and crazy dancing. Ask me about the Gator sometime!..LOL. Thanks for such a great time Mark & Ashley! Have fun in Colorado. And thank you so much for inviting us to spend the day with you!

Liz & John: July 3, 2010

It was a true pleasure for Kalyn & I to work with John & Liz! They had their wedding at Quailcrest Farms which is a lovely farm complete with gardens and an awesome barn converted into a reception location. I had been looking forward to this wedding for awhile and I definitely wasn't disappointed!

Liz & John decided to see each other before the ceremony. They played rock, paper, scissors to determine who would read their special vows first. Then we moved onto the ceremony. The Flower Girl literally ran down the aisle. It was the funniest thing! The Best Man smiled through the entire ceremony which is unusual. Normally the Best Man and Groomsmen all look very serious. Hmmm I wonder why? The Maid of Honor kept wiping tears through most of the ceremony. And Liz & John had huge grins the entire time!

The reception was tons of fun too! Cool dancing and a really fun garter toss! Thanks for inviting me to capture your day Liz & John. I had sooooo much fun!

PS. The BARBECUE WAS AWESOME!

Allyson & Craig: June 26, 2010

Deb & I joined Allyson & Craig at the Elyria Country Club. As soon as we walked in, we were so impressed with the detail Allyson put into the Antique theme for her Wedding. She made those paper flower centerpieces you see above! WOW! Not to mention each invitation, notecard gift set, cake topper etc. DOUBLE WOW! She really needs to think about doing themed Weddings for other people or becoming a Wedding Planner. Amazing!!

We photographed some getting ready photos followed by the couple seeing each other for the first time so that we could take formal photos before the ceremony. It was a beautiful moment. I love what a gentleman Craig is. I mean who kisses hands anymore? I'm such a romantic and it was one of my favorite moments of the day. We then spent some time photographing around the main building and doing formal photos. The ceremony was lovely with the chairs wrapped around in a circle around the couple. After the ceremony, Brit from ECC, took myself and the couple on a little ride to a few GORGEOUS locations on the golf course. Wow, what a surprise! And the photos turned out pretty cool!

Thank you so much to the staff of ECC!! You were AMAZING and I would recommend you to all of my clients without a doubt! Did I mention Michael Symon is the consulting chef?

And most importantly, thank you Craig & Allyson for allowing me to capture one of the most important days of your lives. It was an honor and privilege!
