Liz & Brian: July 9, 2011

Aaron and I stopped of in Fairlawn, Ohio to photograph Liz getting ready. I knew it was going to be a wonderful day. Liz was just gorgeous!

Then after getting through a traffic jam, we all arrived at the church just slightly late with the Bride in tow. But it didn't matter at all to Brian when Liz arrived. He was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. It was such a heartfelt ceremony. I admit I was crying behind my camera. :-)

We stopped at Liz & Brian's High School for a few images. Then moved over to Downtown Akron. And finally stopped in Cuyahoga Falls for a few images. It was so much fun hanging out with this wedding party. We had a blast.

And last but not least, we arrived at the Reception for some sweet toasts and awesome dancing. Towards the end of the night, a gentleman treated us to his dancing version of Chumbawamba's "I get Knocked Down" song. It was pretty awesome.

It was such a pleasure hanging out with both of you. I had so much fun. Congratulations! I wish you many happy years to come. :-)

Ayna & Hani: July 3, 2011

I spent an evening with Ayna & Hani around my studio building on Superior photographing their engagement session. They both have the most gorgeous eyes. I told them they should model because of how gorgeous they both are. But more important, they are also both so sweet and down to Earth. I had such a fabulous time with them and was so excited to photograph their Home Ceremony & celebrate their customs.

So Jamie and I met them at Ayna's Family Home so they could officially be married in their custom. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by their closest family & friends for such an intimate moment. I just love the sweet & tender way Hani treats Ayna. It was very apparent this day.

We headed out to Squires Castle for some images. It was a lovely day with bright sunshine and many other newly married couples roaming the castle grounds. But we found quite a few locations to photograph in.

Afterwards we headed to the Radisson in Eastlake. These families really knew how to dance. It was amazing to be a part of it. Thank you so much for sharing your day with me. Congratulations Hani & Ayna. May you live forever in happiness & love!

Cara & Dave: July 1, 2011

I hung out with Dave & Cara earlier in the year in Hudson for their e-session. We had so much fun chatting, laughing and even had a beer together. So I was extremely excited to be able to join them on their Wedding Day.

Deb P. and I joined Dave and Cara at their hotel for some getting ready images to begin the day. The we moved onto Tom's Country Place for the ceremony & reception. The ceremony was gorgeous. Both the Bride & Groom shed some tears. (I have proof Dave!..LOL). And it was absolute magic to watch them join together as husband & wife. We were all surprised when a bagpiper came walking down to lead them away from their ceremony. So cool!

After some creative images using the fabulous landscaping around Tom's Country Place, we headed into the reception. I'm pretty sure both Bride & Groom ended up with cake in their noses during the cake cutting. The cake cutting was followed by some very heartfelt toasts and a hilarious toast by the Best Man. After dinner, both Dave & Cara enjoyed their first dance as the Best Man & a Bridesmaid sang for them. After the joyful father/daughter and mother/son dances, everyone let loose and put on their dancing shoes. :-)

Congratulations Cara & Dave! I've had so much fun getting to know you both. You are one of the sweetest couples I know. :-)

Mike & Emily: June 18, 2011

Jamie & Aaron joined me at the Haas Farm for a day of love, joy & fun.

Emily & Mike are my partner Maura's cousins. And I've adored Emily from the first moment I met her. I was lucky enough to be at Maura's Aunt Maureen's home when Mike proposed to Emily. And of course I immediately jumped on the prospect of photographing their Wedding.

We joined both families for some getting ready images before the day began. And as soon as I saw the awesome ceremony set up and the tent set up for the Reception I realized what a magnificent vision Emily & Mike had for their day and was even more thrilled to be there.

There were golf carts, croquet mallets and bean bags which provided hours of fun. We set up a photobooth inside a horse stall. The David Loy Band was of course present as they would be at any Joyce-Haas Family function. And as if that weren't enough, everyone released these amazing lanterns into the night sky.

I would like to take a moment to say that I didn't know Emily's Dad but I'm positive he was there with her that day. From Mike's vows to Madelaine's toast, he was present in every moment.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day. Congratulations and I LOVE you both!! :-)

Julie & Ryan: June 25, 2011

What can I say about Julie & Ryan? They are two of the nicest people on Earth. I adored Julie from the moment I met her. And as soon as I met Ryan, I totally understood exactly how they ended up together. You could see it in the way they look at each other.

Aaron and I seperated at the beginning of the day to do some getting ready images for the couple. Then we headed to St. Bedes Church to see them tie the knot. It was so beautiful to watch them exchange vows that even I shed a few tears.

We took some images in and around the church and then moved onto the gorgeous Andrews Academy. If you haven't seen this venue, you are missing out. It was spectacular! The couple honored us all with their first dance and then cut their beautiful cake. After a touching speech from Julie's father and a heartfelt speech from the Maid of Honor, the Best Man had us all cracking up with the best ways to help Julie handle Ryan. This included Band-Aids, baseball helmet and a tape recorder as well as a few other items. So funny!! Then after dinner it was time to get down and let loose on the dance floor. And they did!!

Congratulations Julie & Ryan. It was an honor and pleasure to be able to know you both!

And thank you Kim & Al from Video Memories Forever for referring me to Julie & Ryan. Its always so lovely to see you both!

Melissa & Josh: June 25, 2011

Lead Photography by Kalyn M. 2nd shooter is Deb P.
Deb and I spent the day with Melissa and Josh on the east-side of town. We started at the church where the whole gang was getting ready and then headed over to Landerhaven for the reception. There, I was able to sneak away with the bride and groom for their "creative" alone shots and that's when they were finally able to relax and soak in the whole day. All in all the wedding was a complete mix of laughter and lots of love! Congratulations you two!
