I headed out to Chagrin Falls to join Nikki & Steve for their engagement session. The first time I met Nikki, I just LOVED her personality and spirit. It was the first time I was meeting Steve and of course he is an awesome guy and so handsome. Both Nikki & Steve's eyes are just so gorgeous. I enjoyed chatting with them and just hanging out. And they were so lovely to end our session with ice cream for everyone!
Their wedding is coming up in the next few weeks. :-)

Marta & Enrique: June 11, 2011
When I met Marta & Enrique, I immediately wanted their Wedding. Just seeing them together was such a beautiful experience. The way they look at each other is just beautiful. And they were having a GREEN Wedding which I thought was pretty amazing!
Deb joined Enrique at the couple's home and I joined Marta at her parents home for some getting ready images. Everyone was so excited and all smiles.
Then we traveled to St Stanislaus Church in Slavic Village which is absolutely gorgeous. I absolutely loved the very different bouquets that were requested by Marta & Enrique. There were also a few different cultural traditions at the ceremony such as passing coins and tying the couple together with beads. And the whole time Marta & Enrique had eyes only for each other.
I was VERY excited to travel to the Flats with an old Cuda for photos inbetween. We made good use of the blue bridge and a few select areas that included some greenery.
The Reception was held at the Club in Key Tower. Lots of green plants filled the tables with very cool wine bottle candles. Marta & Enrique were introduced by traveling through the bouquets & arms of their Bridal Party. They showed us their choreographed first dance moves and it was time to eat & party!
I must mention the VERY awesome wedding rings. They were made of wood by a company called Touch Wood.
We also worked with the fabulous Kim & Al from Video Memories Forever.
And Molly & Bailey from Molly Taylor Designs did the amazing flowers.

Nichole & Casey: June 4, 2011
I spent the day with Nichole & Casey at the Bertram Inn in Solon. We started out the day hanging out with the Nichole as she was getting ready. Then we had some fun playing hide the Bride and find the Groom before shooting some formal images.
Next it was time to tie the knot. It was a beautiful ceremony and I'm pretty certain I saw a few tears in Casey's eyes. Nichole & Casey were both all smiles throughout. It was fun watching them be silly as they poured sand during the Sand Ceremony. And huge grins broke out as they made their way back down the aisle to receive their guests.
It was certainly funny when the Bride left her talkative Groom to move down the line and greet all the guests while he was still with the same guests, but we did get to family photos faster. HA!
Then it was time to P.A.R.T.Y! And these lovely folks definitely knew how to party!
It was such a pleasure working with you both. Casey, keep that amazing sense of humor and awesome smile. Nichole, always be the wonderful sweet person you are! Congratulations to you both!
