September 17, 2011: Pete & Erin

Maura & I joined Pete & Erin at the Wyndham Hotel for their Wedding & Reception. We started out the day hanging out seperately with the Bride & Groom. Erin's dress was just gorgeous and totally fit her personality. I'm pretty sure the Best Man kept everyone including Pete laughing throughout their getting ready process.

Erin & Pete decided to have a private First Viewing so we could do photos before the ceremony. Maura & I took photos from both angles as they first saw each other. They were both all smiles. It was a wonderful moment to witness. Then we all moved over to the State Theatre for some fun and formal images.

Afterwards, we showed back up at the Wyndham for the ceremony. They were all smiles as the ceremony took place. I loved their faces as they handed each of their Mom's a rose during the ceremony.

After the cocktail hour, the reception got rockin. The Best Man, Maid of Honor and the Groom's Father all gave toasts. Then after dinner everyone started dancing. :-)

Thank you so much for trusting us with your Wedding. We had a fabulous time and wish you both nothing but the best for the present and future!

The Lyons Family

I photographed Jen & Nate's Wedding at the end of last year in Downtown Cleveland. They are both just really wonderful people. So I was ecstatic to meet the newest addition to their family. Noah is such a gorgeous little boy. And his lips are just so cute. Thanks for sharing your family with me!

I had the pleasure of photographing Jeff & Alison's Wedding a few years back. Ever since then, they come to me for their family photos. Everytime I'm around them, I feel like I'm with old friends. Its just REALLY comfortable. So I was thrilled to meet the new addition to their family. Its always a pleasure Thomas Family!

September 10, 2011: Gina & Ken

We started out the day with Gina at the B&G's home. It was so much fun hanging out with the ladies as they were preparing for the day. We even got in a little football. :-)

Then we headed downtown to Immaculate Conception which is a gorgeous church. It was my first time there. Excitement was in the air as everyone waited anxiously for the ceremony to begin. Ken was smiling ear to ear. It was a fantastic ceremony. I got a little tearful.

After some formal images at the church we drove around Cleveland. We hit E. 4th St, Browns Stadium and then checked out the Italian gardens on MLK Blvd. Ken had a few problems with Gina & a cop car as we stopped for a break but he made it out of the handcuffs without a scratch. :-)

Then it was party time. So we joined family & friends at the Marriott East for some great food, good dancing and some heartfelt toasts. Everyone had a super fabulous time. Ken & Gina had special cupcakes made for their Bridal Party. And we were entertained by the very awesome TKO DJs. It was a wonderful evening!

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day Ken & Gina. It was a pleasure. Congratulations to you both!!

The Haas Family

The Haas Family holds a special place in my heart. Liz is my photo BFF. She has her own business Liz Haas Photography. She does some gorgeous stuff. So when she asked me to do a session for her family, I of course was onboard. :-)

I just love working with other artists/photographers. When two creative minds are working together, its like an implosion of brillance.

I can't believe how big Parker is getting. Happy Holidays Haas Family!

September 3, 2011: Nikki & Steve

I hung out with Nikki & Steve for their E-session in Chagrin Falls earlier this year. I had so much fun with them that I was definitely excited about spending their Wedding Day with them.

We hung out with Nikki at her Mom's home. And with Steve at Nikki & Steve's house for some getting ready images. Everyone welcomed us into their houses with smiles and warm welcomes. It was so nice to be a part of their day.

Then we moved onto St. Paschal Baylon Church for the ceremony. Nikki cried as she walked down the aisle. Its one of my very favorite parts of the ceremony. It was so cute when she was trying to fix Steve's boutiniere. There were lots of beautiful moments throughout. Steve & his brothers worked at the church so they parked the mower out front for them to pose around. So much fun!

For photos inbetween, we headed to the Blue Bridge in the Flats. Then moved over behind the Cleveland Public Library in Downtown. We also stopped by E.4th St. And finished the formal images at the Hyatt as we arrived for the Reception.

At the Hyatt, Steve's Brother gave one of the best and funniest toasts I've ever heard. And I've heard quite a few toasts in my five years as a Wedding Photographer. I always love doing images at the Hyatt. It gives sort of an antique feel to everything. And I must admit I'm partial to the antique sort of Weddings. :-)

The Galati & Detzel Families were so much fun! Thank you Nikki & Steve for having Jamie & I. We had such a blast at your Wedding!
