Herbst Bat Mitzvah
I was invited to photograph the rehearsal at Park Synagogue with the Herbst Family. I had a blast listening to their Rabbi. He had such an amazing sense of humor. I also did some family photos which were so much fun. Elana is such a sweetheart!
Cindi and I caught the very end of the service at the temple. I love Jewish traditions and ceremonies. They are sooo beautiful.
Then we moved onto the party. Rock The House djed the evening away. There were hula hoops, crazy hats, glow sticks, fun glasses and a crazy scavenger hunt. As well as great food and an ice cream bar. The kids danced the night away and even the parents joined in. It was so much fun. Thank you so much for inviting me to capture such a special moment in Elana's life!

Jen & Jonathan's E-session
I met Jen & Jonathan at Mapleside Farms out in Brunswick. It was such an amazingly gorgeous day. We started out around the little pond which I find so endearing. The we moved to the apple orchards where we were attacked by crazy monster ducks because some lady thought it was funny to bother them...LOL. Not so funny for us especially since I was hiding under a tree. The rest of the session went by without a hitch. We enjoyed the corn maze. I still think we should have used the cowboy hats...LOL. And then we moved onto the pumpkin patch. It was such a fun day. Jonathan has this charming smile and lovely personality. And Jen is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Not to mention beautiful! I am so thrilled to be working with them and I can't wait for the Wedding!

Beth & Jared: October 10, 2010
Kalyn & I had an amazing time photographing Beth & Jared's Wedding. It was such a wonderful day. Beth sent her Mom, Peggy, to meet me the first time. We sat for about 6 hours and chatted. She told me all about Beth & Jared so by the time I met Beth & Jared, I felt like I knew them. And I was TOTALLY excited to photograph their Wedding.
I dropped Kalyn off at the hotel with the Jared, his sister and the other Groomsmen to do some getting ready images. Then I rode over to Peggy's home to photograph Beth & the ladies getting ready. I was immediately excited to photograph around Peggy's home. It was beautiful and there was a little red bridge out front. The Fall leaves were perfect.
The Gentleman & Kalyn rode Lolly the Trolley to the house and Beth & Jared had their first moment of seeing each other at the bottom of Peggy's stairway. I always feel a little like I'm invading such a private moment but I quickly forget about that and photograph the beauty in the moment. And you could immediately tell how much love was between Jared & Beth. This set the tone for the entire day.
We photographed some images around Peggy's home. Then we moved over to Chagrin Falls and hit the Popcorn shop for a few images. And then finished all the family photos at Landerhaven.
This was my first experience at Landerhaven and it was definitely a wonderful one!! Plus I was working with a group of A-List Vendors! The fab Jay R from Selective Sound along with his right hand man Christian DJed for the evening and did the wonderful lighting for the reception. And also Kim & Al from Video Memories Forever who are wonderful people and professionals.
Beth & Jared were married in a Jewish Ceremony. The Rabbi read some of the things they had said about each other and I think the entire room was in tears including me. Their Kutuba was gorgeous. It said "Yours before we met. Mine before we touched. Everlasting from the start.", which I thought was one of the most beautiful things I had ever read.
The reception was full of love, happiness and more tears. I would say the Hora was my favorite part. Especially Peggy's face as they hoisted the chair. Although Beth rivaled Peggy's face. And at the end of the evening, Beth & Jared surprised their guests with a wonderful Slider bar. SWEET!!!!
I have had so much fun getting to know you Beth & Jared. It was such a honor to be a part of your Amazing Day!

Lindsey & Scott: October 9, 2010
Deb & I photographed Lindsey & Scott's Wedding at First United Methodist Church. It was a gorgeous venue complete with a balcony. Lindsey was a sight to see with her birdcage veil. It was gorgeous. WE did a lot of their independant photos before the ceremony. Then finished after the ceremony.
We headed to Kendall Lake for some fun photos with the group afterwards. Where Scott climbed the dock post and showed us the Karate Kid Crane. There was lots of jumping and silly fun. We had a great time there while Deb was photographing all the AMAZING details that Lindsey put together for the Reception.
Then we headed to SYB for the FAB reception. Lindsey outdid herself with all the amazing Fall/Halloween inspired decorations complete with orange lighting on the walls. It was pretty sweet!! Later in the evening they broke out fake noses & glasses for everyone. It was so funny!
It was a pleasure to work with you both!

Erin & David: October 2, 2010
Jamie & I joined Erin & David at the Botanical Gardens over around University Circle. We started out at their hotel photographing some getting ready images for the couple. Jamie worked with David and I took care of Erin. The day was immediately filled with the smiles & joy of all of their friends and the couple. They were so excited to get the day started.
After photographing some formal images at the Hotel we moved onto the Botanical Gardens to get the Wedding part of things started. Luck was with Erin & David because it was raining moving the ceremony inside. I loved watching David's face as his Bride came down the aisle. The joy on both of their faces was just radiate. I think this might be one of my favorite moments in every Wedding. And Erin & David definitely made this moment special. :-)
After the ceremony, we moved into the Glass House to photograph some formal & creative images. This is always a fun experience especially in new locations. There was a beautiful butterfly which kept moving around us. The flowergirl was enthralled with the little butterfly. It was soooo cute!
And then we moved into the ballroom for the Reception. I loved the big glass window in the front of the room. I took a few images in the glass of the first dance. The couple laughed and cuddled during the first dance which was so sweet. And during the cake cutting, Erin lovingly and laughingly tried to put a napkin over David's tux. It was such a fun moment. Then the dancing started. This was definitely a group that was out to have a good time. I loved watching them all dance. There was a lot of cuddling going on with couples behind the scenes too.
It was such a pleasure to share in your Wedding Day with you both. :-)

Amanda & Andy: September 25, 2010
Kalyn & I joined Andy & Amanda at Lakewood Congregation Church starting out with their getting ready photos. Amanda had a whole entourage of make-up and hair people with her when she arrived. And they got right down to business.
I was immediately in love with the church. It was an older style no aisle down the middle, balcony around the sides and back church. It reminded me of the cool churches in Philly. There were lots of fun moments and laughter throughout the ceremony. Everyone was in wonderful spirits. Andy looked on adoringly at her Bride throughout the entire ceremony.
Afterwards we headed to Edgewater Park to get some images overlooking downtown. We also stopped by the crazy metal art piece overlooking the Lake. I made sure to work some creative magic for Amanda.
Then we headed to a hall over on Warren Rd. in Lakewood. We joined their family and friends for some fun dancing, toasts and good food. It was so much fun hanging out with you both on such a special day!

Jennifer & Matthew: September 24, 2010
Deb & I joined Matthew & Jennifer at Club Hillbrook. It was such a GORGEOUS venue! I'm a huge fan of Tudor Homes so it was a great pleasure to photograph at this venue. The rain didn't keep us from going outside for some images nor did it stop the wonderful ceremony at the Tea House.
We started out the day photographing some Getting Ready images and then some Creative Images for the couple. Very shortly afterward, we moved to the Tea house. One of the most beautiful moments of the ceremony was when everyone held hands. I've never seen that at a Wedding Ceremony before. Jennifer picked out some amazing colors for the Wedding and they really popped all day. I loved the little looks stolen between Matthew & Jennifer. So cute!
We strolled around the grounds taking some more creative images and then moved onto the Reception. It was held on a curtain covered terrace overlooking the magnificent pool area and creek beside Club Hillbrook. The toasts given by Best Man, Maid of Honor and father of the Bride were filled with laughter and tears. And Matthew didn't pass up the opportunity to dip his Bride!
Thank you so much for sharing your day with us. We had an amazing time. You are such a wonderful and sweet couple. I've enjoyed working with you this year!

Ryan & Kelly: September 18, 2010
Jamie & I spent the day with Kelly & Ryan out at Firestone Metro Park in Akron for their Wedding Day. From the moment I met them, I felt like we were old friends. We laughed and had such an amazing time at their Engagement Session so I was definitely looking forward to their big day.
We stopped and hung out with Ryan at his parent's home for a little while. The guys were all watching the OSU game while Ryan presented them with some pretty sweet mugs with some Jamieson. Then we headed to the hotel to document Kelly getting ready with her girls. Kelly made these wonderful little cupcakes to share with everyone. Yummy!!
Then it was off to Firestone to watch them marry in front of all their friends and family. On a side note, there was a camera crew shooting a rap video out in the field. Interesting place for rap, don't ya think?..LOL. Anyway, the ceremony was wonderful. Lots of love and smiles between these two.
Afterwards came the cake cutting and a casual reception. Everyone played cornhole and various games Ryan & Kelly provided. It was such a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed it very much! Thank you so much for making us a part of your day. It was such a pleasure!

Danielle & Donald: September 11, 2010
Deb & I joined Danielle & Donald on their special day. I started out photographing Danielle getting ready while Deb was photographing some details of the ceremony. There were gorgeous setups with candles and seashells. It was wonderful!
Then Danielle walked down the aisle with a huge smile on her face as her soon to be hubby accepted her hand from her father. It was such a beautiful moment. There were lots o loving glances and tears as they tied the knot.
We went to Huntington Beach for some photos inbetween. We had a little rain problem however the rain cleared up before we made it back to the reception. So we did a few photos there with Danielle & Donald.
The Reception was a fabulous affair with cool food and an awesome seashell cake. There were many tears shed as toasts were given by the best man and two maids of honor. And then the dances began.
It was such a pleasure to work with you both!
